The Binary Confidence s.r.o is committed to protecting your personal information when you are using our online services. We want our services to be safe and enjoyable environments for our audience. This Privacy and Data Protection Policy relates to our use of personal information we collect from you via the following services on our webpages:

2/ Who we are?

Binary Confidence s.r.o (“We”) is a fast-growing managed security services provider founded by professionals with government and private sector experience in combating security breaches, cyber fraud and cybercrime. The core of the business is to provide our clients with 24/7 remote IT security monitoring, defence and security incident handling. 3/ How will we use your information?

We only collect your email address from you unless you manifestly provided us with additional personal details about you (for example in your message to us). We only require email address to fulfil our legitimate interests for processing, any other personal information are not mandatory and we do not require these from you. Personal details will be kept and processed only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose of processing. For processing of email newsletters we use third party company MailChimp.
Mailchimp Incorporates the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses in Data Processing Addendum which automatically forms part of Standard Terms of Use and applies to customer data protected by EU laws.

We do not use your personal information for any automated decision-making nor profiling.

Your email address and personal details will not be shared for any marketing purposes with any other company.

If you send your message to us
If we receive your request for information or your message that you intentionally wrote to us on our webpage together with providing your email address, we have legitimate interest to process your email address in order to respond back to you with additional or required / requested information. We need your email address in order to be able to respond back to you. To be able to follow up on potential additional questions or conversation with you, we will keep your message and its content and your email address on our systems for period of 2 months after last conversation date with you. We may process additional personal information only if they are included in your message that you wrote to us manifestly and intentionally subject to the retention period outlined in previous sentence. You have the right to ask for your personal information to be deleted earlier by phoning us +421 2321 99980 or by sending us an email to info@binconf.com.

If you subscribe to useful articles (Newsletter)
You provide your email address in order to receive useful articles (newsletter) from us that can be about our services, IT security or General Data Protection Regulation. We collect email address in order to be able to send useful articles (Newsletter) to you via email. We process your email address and your name if you supplied these to us based on your consent that you gave us on our website. Any other personal information except your email are not mandatory and we don’t require these from you.

You can unsubscribe from useful articles (newsletter) at any time by:

  1. clicking on opt-out link in every email we sent you,
  2. by phoning us +421 2321 9980,
  3. or by sending us an email to info@binconf.com

If you call us or email us please state that you are withdrawing your consent for receiving useful articles from us. We will send you consent reminder every 12 months for confirming your ongoing interest in our service, if you withdraw your consent or don’t respond to our consent reminder we will stop processing your personal information, stop sending you useful articles and delete your personal information from our system.

4/ What are your rights?

If you want to exercise your rights, please do not hesitate to contact us by email on info@binconf.com or by phone on +421 2321 9980 or by sending us letter on our address Spitalska 53, 81101 Bratislava. Exercising your rights is free of charge and we will fulfil your requests within 1 month. If we cannot fulfil your rights, because of our legitimate or legal grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms or to protect rights and freedoms of data subject(s) or if the processing is carried out in reason of important public interest, we will also contact you back within 1 month with this information and explanation of our compelling legitimate grounds.

  • Right to withdraw your consent – if processing of personal data concerning you are based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by phoning us +421 2321 99980 or by sending us an email to info@binconf.com or by clicking on opt out link in each Newsletter email or by sending us letter on our address Spitalska 53, 81101 Bratislava.
  • Right of access – you have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed by our company and also additional information for the processing such as categories of personal data processed; recipients of personal data; existence of automated decision making and your rights as a data subject.
  • Right to rectification – if personal data concerning you are inaccurate or incomplete you have the right to rectify your personal data and we will correct your personal data immediately.
  • Right to erasure – we will erase your personal data if they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which we have collected and processed them. You have the right to have your personal data erased if you withdraw your consent, if personal data have been unlawfully processed or if you object to processing of personal that is based on our legitimate interests. We have the right not to erase your personal data if our legal grounds or legitimate grounds for processing override your rights.
  • Right to restrict processing – you have the right to obtain restriction of processing of your personal data if processing is unlawful; if personal data are no longer needed for the purpose of processing but they are needed for exercising or defending legal claims; for the time allowing us to rectify and correct your personal data; or if you object to processing for the time we verify and defend our legitimate or legal grounds for processing your personal data.
  • Right to data portability – you have the right to receive personal data concerning you in structured, commonly used and machine-readable format from us if the processing is based on your consent or if the processing is based on a contract between you and us and the processing is done by automated means.
  • Right to object – you have the right to object to processing your personal data if the processing is based on our legitimate grounds or carried out in reason of public interest. If your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes and you object to processing we shall no longer process your personal data for such purposes.
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making – you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing including profiling. Processing of your personal data on our webpages are never subject to automated decision-making nor profiling for purposes of sending us a message or for subscribing for our useful articles (Newsletter).
  • Right to lodge a complaint – if you are unhappy with how we process your information or unhappy with exercising your rights in regards to data protection you have the right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority at https://dataprotection.gov.sk.

5/ Data Privacy and protection is our main goal

We treat all your personal information strictly confidential and privacy and confidentiality of personal data is our top goal. Privacy of individuals will always be respected in line with the organization’s privacy principles. All personal information being processed, stored or transferred in relation to data subjects must be adequately protected against unauthorized access, transmission, changes or erasure. This Privacy and Data Protection Policy applies to keeping and processing of personal data, both in manual form and automated in electronical form.

The scope of this policy is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data as well as to comply with all law requirements in regards to data protection and data privacy and requirements of General Data Protection Policy Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

Your Personal Information is handled in a manner consistent with privacy by default and design principles and respects the rights of the data subjects at all times. We process personal information transparently and fairly, we collect personal information only for specified, explicit and legitimate purpose, we collect only minimum personal information relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose, we keep personal information accurate and up to date, we keep personal information in form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data are processed and we process personal information in a manner that ensures appropriate level of security especially against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.

6/ Use of Web Cookies:

A cookie is a small text file that’s stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. We only use first party cookies necessary for site performance and for security reasons. We only use anonymous information and do not process your personal data with web cookies, this means we are unable to identify you as a person.

A cookie has standard retention period of 6 months, this means that it will be removed from your device 6 months after you visited our website. You can manage your cookie settings on your internet browser settings.
